The firm’s labour and employment law department deals with all aspects of this wide area of law.

This includes litigation in the High Court, Labour Court and Labour Appeal Court as well as employment tribunals, such as the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) and various bargaining councils. We also advise clients on a wide range of labour related strategic issues including restructuring, employment equity, disciplinary matters and retirement funds.

We draft employment related contracts, such as service agreements (employment contracts), restraints of trade, disciplinary codes and collective agreements involving trade unions. These services and many others are provided to our corporate clients, as well as executive clients.  We also provide advice and opinions on intellectual property matters, including the enforceability of restraints of trade.
